I'm not as useful as you might think. Not yet. I need a way to protect myself from the hunters. If I can find that, I might be able to offer my pain draining ability to healers on a regular basis.

The ones from my 'world' aren't. Not yet. There are hunters around though and they are aware of our presence. Imagine what they'd be capable of with their victims constantly reviving. An endless torture loop.
I just need a way to prevent mob mentality from instantly killing me if I happen to make a bad judgement call.
Thought so- but hey, you know... If you're not doing anything to provoke their hunting-mania And they're not provoking you... then no one gets tortured or killed if you just ignore each other, right?

Hunters that kill that relentlessly and still have a code? Sounds like it's justification for doing what they are.
